how does harper lee satirise the white community in chapter 22 ? ( not finished )

I am starting with how both communities react after the trial and how certain people react .

The black community leaves food , lots of it the morning after the trial , eventhough they  . This was the way that the black community could show their gratitude . They could not give money as it was during the great depression , also they were in a disadvantaged position because they would not be earning as much money or enough . However some of the white community and the missionary circle just gossiped about and didnt care about the people involved or what was going to happen to tom robinson . Miss Stephanie crawford was to  egaer to talk about how Bob Ewell had spat in atticus’ face , she had also asked about why they were sitting in the coloured balcony and if atticus had put them up to that .a quote “miss stephanie’s nose quivered with curiosity.she wanted to know who all gave us permission to go to court – she didnt see it , but it was all over town this morning that we were in the coloured balcony . did atticu put us up there as a sort of -? wasnt it right close up there with all those -? did scout understand all the-?didnt it make us mad to see our daddy beat ? hush stephanie , miss maudie diction was deadly 2

this tells us that the white community ( not all of it) care more about the events and why certain people , jem and scout were sitting in the coloured area when it was supposed to be wrong for white people during that time period . she also asked if their father made them do it, because he is the type of person who would want them to do that . she is also suprised that they were sitting there because they were white .
